Ballyclare High (Grammar) School, Class of 1998 - 2005

Long before the 31 st August 1998, Ballyclare High opened its doors for the first time. Originally situated in Doagh, the school was built in the 1890s as a private fee-paying establishment. It then moved to Ballyclare and opened in 1930 and in the 75 years since then it has grown to the 1200 pupils and 80 teachers it now boasts today (in 2005).
The year of 1998 saw the entry of a normal year group. Just one more group of 1st years who were no different from any other year before or any since. But over the seven years that year group grew into an exceptional mixture of amazing adults with talents and skills that will take them to many places and will guarantee them success. This yearbook aims to reflect a little bit of the brilliance we've all witnessed since we joined the school. A team of 14 people worked together on this project, once again showing how Ballyclare High pupils can pull together and, when working together, can achieve anything. We all hope you enjoy this book and website and in many years to come will remember the amazing people you first met in Ballyclare High School .
